OK, Patriots' Day is actually on April 19th. It is observed on the third Monday of April however which coincides with the Boston Marathon. That's when we are doing the race. Third Monday in April because it is really more about the Boston Marathon and not Patriots's Day. No disrespect to the first battles of the Revolutionary War. You want to run a marathon on the 19th also? Have at it but I'm not buying you dinner.
